How We Move Your Hot Tub Safely
A hot tub is heavy, awkward and easy to damage. Here's exactly how our crew plans and moves it, and how we protect your yard along the way.
Step by step
Moving a hot tub, the way we do it
We plan it from your photos
You send photos of the tub and the path, plus rough measurements. We look at gates, stairs, decks and tight side yards before we ever arrive, then send one flat rate.
Turned on its side, your tub's width sets how wide the gate or path has to be.
We disconnect and protect
Power is disconnected and the tub must be empty (we can drain it for an extra fee). The tub is padded, and ground cover goes down over lawns, interlock and patios along the path.
We move it on its side
The tub is turned on its side onto heavy-duty dollies and walked out along the path, with ramps for steps and decks.
We strap it down for the road
It's loaded onto our trailer and strapped down securely, whether it's going across the yard, across the city or into disposal.
We set it exactly where you want it
On the new pad, deck or patio, positioned and level-ready for your electrician, and we leave the area clean.

FAQ
Moving a hot tub: common questions
Will moving my hot tub damage my yard?
We lay ground cover over lawns and patios along the path and pad the tub before it moves. Tight spots, decks and stairs are planned from your photos before moving day.
How do you get a hot tub through a gate?
Most tubs go through on their side on heavy-duty dollies. Turned on its side, the tub's width sets how wide the gate or path has to be, so send us the tub's measurements and a photo of the gate.
When do you need a crane?
Only when there's no path by hand, for example over a house or into a backyard with no side access. We arrange the crane through an independent crane company and quote it upfront.
Do you disconnect the electrical?
We disconnect power as part of the job. Reconnecting or capping wiring is done by a licensed electrician, and we can recommend one.
Does the tub need to be drained?
Yes, the tub has to be empty before it moves. Draining is an additional fee if you'd like us to do it.
Are you insured?
Yes. We're fully insured and WSIB covered, and we can provide a certificate of insurance before the job.
